Jennifer + Phillip {Destination Nevada City Wedding} Miners Foundry, Nevada City, CA

jennifer-phillip-destination-nev.jpg Out of a sea of videographers this couple chose the one that loves Day of the Dead as much as they do! This was Swoon Films first official destination wedding. Thank you, Phil and Jen, for bringing us to Nevada City! Jen and Phil are such sweet people that devote their lives to helping people. It was this shared passion that brought them together. The proposal happened last year on Día de los Muertos which then became the theme of the wedding. They both love being tourists in their own state which is probably how they stumbled upon Nevada City. They enjoy crafting and did mostly all the decorations for their wedding! They even had personalized papel picado decorations! They commissioned an artist to make a custom cake topper, inspired by their daily commute to work in San Francisco, for their amazing cake from Brita's Confections. Their give aways included fortune fish and home made fortunes (similar to what you would find in a fortune cookie) with individual fortunes. Jen said "I thought this would reflect nicely with the fact that Lady Luck/fate had brought us together. Love is a gamble! And we got lucky." Yes they did! So many thoughtful details and love went into this wedding. Meet Jennifer & Phillip.
