Montana Wedding Film // Amanda + Andrew // Great Falls, MT
Amanda + Andrew
One night, at one of my favorite restaurants in Saratoga, La Fondue, my cousin had a very important question for me. "Will you film my wedding?" I'm beyond blessed to document family's memories. It becomes even more special on a whole other level when the family is yours!
This wedding became an epic adventure of sorts. There's always logistics when traveling for work. I had decided to drive the 20 hour drive that took me through 4 different states in two days: CA, NV, ID and MT. It was the first time I had made this trek by car. It was absolutely fascinating and scenic.
Great Falls, MT is like a second home to me. It's where you will find me every Christmas. It is the home to most of my mother's side of he family. The church in this video is also very special: It's where my parents were married in 1970, I was a flower girl in my aunt's wedding there, Amanda's parents were also married there and sadly, it's also where we said goodbye to my grandpa in 2011. My grandparents were parishioners there for many years.
Two weeks after the wedding, I delivered their trailer:
My cousin is amazing: poised, funny, sweet and has a big heart. It was fun to get to know her as an adult and as a bride. I actually thought of her as a bit shy all these years but she was hilarious and fun to film! I'm just getting to know Andrew but I believe he has the heart to match. They are perfect together. Fans of rival Montana college football teams but they didn't let that stand in their way! This bride didn't want epic mountain shots…nope! Tiki bars and brick walls…Amanda just focused on making sure everyone had a great time. And they did.
Pop some popcorn and settle in. This is their feature film:
